As part of an exploratory project for a course studying the social landscape of Boston, I became strongly interested in topics we discussed regarding the role that public spaces can play in a community. Through this project, I hoped to investigate how we might be able to design these spaces to play a more interactive role and become more of a destination than just a place to pass through. This project focuses on a public space that connects to the World Trade Center MBTA stop located on a bridge connecting the World Trade Center and Convention Center.
